Marathon Man!!!!!!!
Saint George here we come!!!!

Well it all started about 2 years ago when some girlfriends that I run with co-hearsed me into running the Saint George Marathon. I really didn't think I would get in partly because my girlfriend was on the phone with me 5 minutes before the deadline was up and I walked up to my computer saying "there is no way I will get in the deadline is almost up!!!!!" As she walked me through the on line registration..........I submitted my name and as I pushed send the hour was up!!!! Not thinking a whole lot about it and being that you have like 4 months to register, I thought there in NO WAY I will get in!! Guess what..........I GOT IN( much to my dismay!!) Well it turned out to be one of those things I dreaded at the time and one of the greatest accomplishments I have ever done!!! It was SO WORTH IT!!!!!! thanks to my friends for encouraging me!!!!

Now knowing how much I "enjoyed it" I wanted Steve to run it!! I want to share the LOVE!!!! He runs almost everyday but didn't know if he had the time to train. We registered and we got in again this year!!!! SO now it is here.......in 4 short days a life changing accomplishment to cross off the bucket list !!!!!!!! I cant wait....... GOOD LUCK HONEY!!!!!!!

SUMMER IS OVER??????.........WHAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well summer has come and summer has gone and oh what a summer we had! Conner started off with high adventure camp then onto BYU baseball camp and then a family trip to Lake Powell. Kailee continued her private tennis lessons and lots of beach and swimming! Jake and Crew had even more beach time and then a family trip to Palm Springs! Summer is way too short!! Although now that everyone is back in school it is nice to have a little less sand in the car and alot more structure in our lives!!!

We got to go see the play "WICKED" a couple of weeks ago with about 40 of our closest friends (thanks Tamara!) Our kids loved it!!! Well.....except for Jake who took a nice 2 hour nap! Although it went way too fast, we got to spend a lot of family time together and time with great friends!

Now we are moving on to High School.....Conner is on the football team. Kailee is the B.G.O.C. translation (big girl on campus) in 6th grade, Jake is in 3rd and also playing pop warner football and Crew our baby (he's 4) is starting another year of preschool next week!
I told Steve I feel so guilty when I go to bed at night realizing all I seem to say to Crew is "hurry honey" "Hurry buckle up" "Hurry...hop in the car" his little life is my back seat passenger always asking.... "are we going to the football field? "are we going to tennis lessons" "are we going to achievement days" "Is this scout day or mutual day? " "can we go to Coldstone??" But I have to say we do make it to the park regularly, we play a lot of football at home ,we play school (crew has learned to write his name, he does a lot of shaving (pretend with a pretend razor!) we have gone through a whole can of shaving cream this week!! along with an occasional lunch out and ice cream..... more often than not!!!!! I am trying to enjoy every single second I can even with all the craziness! My mom used to always tell me "enjoy your kids while they are young...it will go by way too fast!" I have to say days are turning to weeks and weeks to months!!!!! Life is certainly full but amazingly adventurous and I love every minute of it!!!

Our sweet Grandmother
I took these pictures of my sweet grandmother just last month when she was here visiting. She is such an amazing woman and I realize how much I have learned from her and my dear Mother!! I don't get to see her much living away but love and cherish my time more than ever with her!! You know how they say some day you will do things how your mother did...... It is sooo true and I am so grateful for the relationship I have with my Mother and grandmother! I have come to appreciate now that I am a mother raising my children, the strength my grandmother possesses and the testimony she has. What a gift she is to me and my family and I hope to have many more years to love and learn from her.

Jake's baptism

Well I am a little late getting these pictures up on our blog! It is the last 2 weeks of school and it has been a little crazy being we are trying to finish up state reports, science projects, oral speechs (yes in 2nd grade!) force and motion projects, not to mention all the other craziness that goes on around here!!!

Our little Jake is growing up!!!! He turned 8 in March but we just baptized him in May because he wanted to have his grandma and grandpa there who recently returned home from their mission in South Africa. What a great day it was with all of our families, friends, aunts, uncles, cousins and grandparents!! Living in California we dont get to see everyone often enough so we love to have visitors and loved having sleepovers with cousins!! How proud I am of our sweet little boy who is not so little anymore. He was so excited to get baptized!!!

Our baby is 4!@#^**** YIKES!!!!!!

Good morning birthday boy!!!!!!!

Make a wish!!!!!

Crew is the baby of the neighborhood which makes him everyones little brother!!

Even though we never even saw "Walle" in the theatre, Crew insisted on a Walle cake!! (I didn't even know he knew who walle was???) After all he is "4" and that's what he wanted so that is what we ordered!

Just because he is "4" doesn't mean it isn't exhausting saving the world!!!!

We love our "Crew Baby" so very much and cherish him everyday of our lives!!! We are so blessed to have him and kiss that little face 1,000 times a day!!!!! AT LEAST!!!!

We love our CREWISMS ............."you set me up....Conner" and "mom, I cant pick up my toys....I have a game to get ready for at four sixty" "who's in the bathroom......hurry...I gotta take a dookie" "mom....where's my cup? ( not the kind you drink out of!!) He has to call Steve at work at least once a day and ask "Dad when are you coming home to do batting practice with me?" and last but not least........."that's how I roll", and as he hits a baseball he says "All day baby...all day!"
